Asterisk PBX with trixbox: for use in SMB
LinuxFest North West 2011
Asterisk is an extremely powerful and versatile PBX platform. When used through the trixbox distribution it is very quick and simple to setup while allowing for the customization we are familiar with in the FOSS world.
This presentation focused on the business use of the platform and how it can be leveraged to lower costs and increase features. I presented an overview of the software, hardware options, administration, lessons learned, and customization potential.
